The Santa Barbara County Child Care Planning Council is a collaboration of 25 members representing agencies, organizations, and the community, and is responsible for:
- Advocating for high quality early care and education services for the children and families of Santa Barbara County
- Actively supporting efforts to improve the quality of programs countywide.
- Assessing the need for child care in Santa Barbara County
- Creating the Strategic Plan which calls to action all the community members to address these needs.
