 1 Julius Caesar fights Roman General Pompey in civil war.

2 Cleopatra and brother Ptolemy fight a civil war for rule of Egypt.

3 Julius Caesar defeats Pompey near Egypt.

4 Julius Caesar falls in love with Cleopatra and helps her defeat her brother Ptolemy.

 5 Julius and Cleopatra marry and have a son Cesarion.

6  Julius takes Cleopatra to Rome to show her off.

7 Julius Caesar is murdered, Cleopatra goes back to Egypt.

8 Mark Anthony and Octavian (Julius' grandnephew) defeat Caesar’s murderers in a civil war.

9 Mark Anthony falls in love with Cleopatra and offers her one half of the empire.
