The GOOD NEWS - There are MANY opportunities for extra credit !!
The OTHER NEWS - There must be some written work accompanying the extra credit .

Video

There are many fine History programs on TV and even several excellent Historical films available to rent.
Watch a program and write at least a 2 page report on the details of the program which you found most interesting. The more you write, the more credit you will receive- up to a maximum of 10 extra credit points.  . In class, I show edited versions of several good films and documentaries. Sometimes these programs are shown again on TV, or you might want to rent the complete movie. Just be sure to write about the things you didn't see in class.
BEWARE - I have often edited language and inappropriate situations . Some full -length films or programs may be offensive.
