These point values are for a poster representing a person from the correct time period currently being studied.
Neat appearance – all of these must be present in order to get the extra credit points.
                       pictures are neatly cropped and neatly colored, AND
                       words/captions are neatly written/typed AND
                       caption borders/backgrounds are neatly drawn/attached,
                    AND poster background is clean without smudges or markings

                      mounted on correct size poster (1/2 point for each picture)
                     Each picture logically representing required information
                     Each picture with a border or background
                     Each picture colored appropriately as in real life – NOTE – statues must be colored to look like
                    living people – no black and white or gray pictures
 
____ (5 pts.)- Correct Title/ Heading / Captions (definition of caption = at least 1 sentence and
                        not more than 5 sentences which explains the picture connected to it)
                     (1pt.)Title is large (easily read by the teacher from 10 feet away) and spelled correctly
                     (1pt.)Heading on the front lower right side and includes student’s complete name,
                             date, and period
                    (3pt.)Each picture has a caption which presents different, required, historically correct
                           information and uses words/phrases you understand and
                           correct English grammar/usage/spelling
